Fixed Optical Attenuator
Fixed optical attenuators are used to reduce the power of Light signals being transmitted through optical fibers. With fixed optical attenuators, signals are reduced by a specific amount.
Using fixed attenuators makes signal Reflection less of an issue and therefore makes for more accurate transmissions of data.
Fixed attenuators can be used with single mode, Multimode and polarization maintaining fiber. There is low Insertion Loss and back reflection with the use of fixed optical attenuators.
