World Wide Web Consortium W3C
W3C is a forum for information, commerce, and collective action by a consortium of respected web inventors and developers who seek to develop technologies to enhance use of the World Wide Web (http://www.w3.org/). Tim Berners-Lee, the original architect of the World Wide Web, founded W3C in 1994.
